Ms Marvel #27 preview

May 26th, 2008, 7:26 pm by Shawn Munguia

Marvel Comic’s “Ms.” namesake has had a solid run, issue #27 is new territory for the character as her last book didn’t make it this far. Volume two of the heroine’s tale is still hot with solid writing and beautiful art by the creative team. Add to that the fact that this is a Secret Invasion tie-in, and it makes this book a must have.

This crossover into Marvel Comics‘ Secret Invasion storyline focuses on The Sentry. You can follow SI just fine without it, but it definitely adds to the reading experience.

Incredible Hercules #117 preview

May 19th, 2008, 7:16 pm by Shawn Munguia

This has been one of my favorite comics in the wake of Word War Hulk. Marvel Comics‘ prince of power has never been more fun to read and this is the first in a story arc that has Hercules and a few other deities facing the Skrulls’ gods in this Secret Invasion crossover.

Ghost Rider #23 preview

May 19th, 2008, 7:01 pm by Shawn Munguia

This story brings the close to this horror-style story arc, but it’s a helluva ride with flamehead at the helm. One of the more different characters running around in Marvel Comics, Ghost Rider seems to be starting down another interesting road here as well.

And in this universe, the person who has taken up the mantle of Captain America is a gal by the name of American Dream. Check out a preview of the second issue of her title.
