Angel: Revelations #1 preview

May 26th, 2008, 6:47 pm by Shawn Munguia

Marvel Comics is giving a little incite into Warren Worthington with Angel: revelations. The story by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa looks intriguing as does the stylized, and beautiful art by Adam Pollina. The mini-series promises to add detail to the origin story of one of Charles Xavier’s original X-Men.

Ultimate X-Men #94 preview

May 19th, 2008, 7:26 pm by Shawn Munguia

Ultimate X-Men #94 is probably my must read for the week. While Marvel Comics is putting out some solid comics and I’m a huge fan of Hercules, this issue has some truly jaw-dropping moments. Among the “What the hell?” moments is the unveiling of Ultimate Alpha Flight. But take a look at the roster and you’ll have a nice little gasp in there as well.

Secret Invasion: Fantastic Four #1 preview

May 10th, 2008, 5:19 pm by Shawn Munguia

Marvel Comics‘ “Secret Invasion” by the Skrull is in full swing and the first family of Marvel is definitely in the thick of it. The FF were the first humans to encounter Skrull in the Marvel U. and those meetings have always gone bad for the green meanies of the galaxy.

This title will follow what the FF is up to throughout the Invasion. The ending of issue #1 has a big reveal but you won’t be seeing it here.

Captain Britain and MI:13 is a bit of a mouthful, but it looks like the title will put the UK superhero in the thick of the action for Marvel Comics‘ “Secret Invasion.”
